 #the last line always kills me #but i feel like that kind of the things #the doctor is still in a lot of ways her imaginary friend; the mad man in the box that comes to save her time and time again. #but season six is totally different and shows her that things do happen and he’s not always friendly and kind and he can’t always save you though he’ll hate himself afterwards. #amelia pond; the girl who waited did wait enough but i feel like her defining moment will be or should be when she realizes she’s grown up and while she loves the doctor and he’s still in a lot of ways her imaginary friend she doesn’t need him to live her life and have adventures of her own anymore. #like yeah it’s sad but i’d rather be her cue to leave versus dying or being displaced in time or another universe. her just walking away would be glorious. #… i have a lot of feelings
